Phantom Abyss para Leigos

It's time for Phantom Abyss to transition out of Early Access and into 1.0 later this month, on January 25. The past couple of years have been a great experience for us, and we are very grateful for all the love and support you have shown us during EA. We couldn't have reached this point without your invaluable feedback.

In a pinch, it can help you if you would otherwise have been just a split-second too late for your whip to connect, and it can literally pull you out of a sticky situation faster.

Tackling what is on offer should be a cinch for veteran Phantom Abyss players. But even those coming in now that the full 1.

Now runs have this thing where at the end of a level it adds a random challenge to your run. You have no control over witch modifier you get and some are way worse than others. sometimes runs feel very easy because you get lucky and others just feel like ♥♥♥♥ because you got bad luck.

While you can rely on others to open doors for you, a feature which I did take full advantage of, these gateways are timed and mean that you can’t just sit back and wait for someone else to do the grunt work for you.

There's also a new daily mode, delivering a steady stream of challenges with specific equipment and conditions to best alongside everyone else.

This is all to say that Phantom Abyss falls somewhat short on achieving the goal of offering a challenging parkour adventure in a roguelite package. The whip and phantom gameplay involving other players’ trial and error are unique, but its clunkiness, difficulty, and disparate progression are worth a pause.

Sad to say, From the Abyss is an extremely unremarkable game through-and-through. From the visual style and plot to the game mechanics, it's all been done before in some form or another. The good news in all of this is the game still offers a good time for fans of the genre.

You may prefer this option over Wings, as both have very similar utilities in correcting mistakes and circumventing obstacles, and I encourage you to choose which feels more comfortable to you if it comes down to one or the other.

Phantom Abyss is a massive asynchronous Phantom Abyss multiplayer game that casts players into procedurally-generated temples and tasks them with retrieving the sacred relics hidden within deadly chambers. Intrepid adventurers will dodge scores of hidden traps, leap treacherous chasms, and flee relentless guardians through branching paths until one of the relics are claimed or the devices of death overwhelm them. Be warned, you only get one attempt at each temple and failure or settling for a lesser relic means you will never see that temple again...The cleverest players will use the phantom runs of failed attempts from other players to their advantage and avoid the missteps and mistakes that led to their doom.

1.0 update sorta killed the vibe for me lots of changes that are worse than in previous versions. I would recommend this if it just rolled back a few updates.
